Invalid / Missing Tooleap API Key

You get this message when specifying an incorrect Tooleap API Key in the application AndroidManifest.xml file, or when you didn’t specify a Tooleap API Key at all.

Add a meta data tag to the application declaration in the manifest as follows:

The Tooleap API Key is unique per application package name ( To generate an API key for your app,  read our Preparing for Release guide.

Note that you can still develop apps and test them without an api key if your app is signed with a standard android debug key. This notification doesn’t remove any features from the SDK. Tooleap will not function properly without the API key only when assigning a release certificate to your app.
